About the Editor
Alex has been a storyteller his whole life. It took a while to realize that’s what all his passions and hobbies had in common. Acting, improv comedy, comic books, movies, video games, even teaching—it was all about telling a story for him. Once he realized this love of telling stories, it wasn’t long before it morphed into a passion for helping others tell theirs.
Since then, Alex has worked with everyone from bloggers to new authors to bestsellers in their category. He’s joined forces with editing companies, done extensive research, and taken several classes with the Editorial Freelancers Association, all so he can make sure every story he has a hand in telling is the best it can be. Earning his B.A. in Theatre gave him a deep understanding of characterization and story progression. A life immersed in fantastic stories only solidified this (ask him how—he’s got a whole list of ways) and he will never stop sharpening his editing skills.
When he’s not editing, Alex is writing his own stories (very slowly), spending time with his beautiful wife, performing improv comedy, playing video games, and enjoying board games that nobody’s ever heard of.
